MY ART SCHOOL SUMMER -  ADULTS ONLY ANIMATED CARTOON at the Ritz Theater
“My Art School Summer,” the first, hand-drawn animated cartoon produced in Northeast Minneapolis makes its debut at the Ritz Theater during AAW. The 90-minute feature is a sex-comedy for adults, created by animators David and Mary Sandberg of Out on a Limb Animation. The film premiered at the Festival of International Erotic Animation in Rio de Janeiro in November 2007. No one under 18 years old will be admitted. Saturday, May 17, 2 pm; $5 suggested donation.

Angel Bomb Design Letterpress Action
Angel Bomb Design churns out prints on a 100-year-old, half-ton letterpress. This centuries-old printing method sets individual pieces of metal type set by hand to create finished work—a far cry from digital printing. Demos will be held at the top of every odd hour.
